Mindless Crochet: How to crochet an easy cowl without really thinking! I've just uploaded the information to my blog! Let's have some downtime whilst making this cowl together, I'm already one row down, well that's because I had to take a photo for the blog.....but I'll be picking it up after dinner. Thank you to all of you who commented on my previous post or sent me private messages. So many great suggestions, I will definitely be giving them a try. I went back to the doctors today and he gave me some sleeping tablets. The anxious side of me doesn't want to try them just yet but it's obviously to the point of needing something to change. . I've never felt so fatigued and weak during the day. Yes, having a newborn is one thing, but it's got nothing on this lol. (Personal opinion) Maybe it is the coallation of all the years of broken sleep coming to the point where something's gotta give. . I want to take a holistic approach to my health. Align myself back up again. The doctor even said I was out of alignment, so it is something that needs attending to asap. . Wow I didn't intend to babble on. This was meant to be an exciting and happy post! I woke up to Stylecraft Yarns releasing me as their new Blogstar! I can't wait to see what I come up with, even I don't know just yet lol. . I spent a good whack of the day working on the finishing touches of my Floral Dreams pattern. It's now 23 pages long and has been more information in it. Both UK and US terms, step-by-step photos and charts and of course written instructions. . Who is excited for the 1st February? Pattern release day! Woo hoo. It will also be run in the Stylecraft Make Along Group on Facebook. Go ahead and join 😉.

I have so much going on in my head it has started affecting my sleep. For about three weeks now, I have found it so hard to get to sleep, and when I eventually do, I wake up and can't get back to sleep. . This in turn results in my anxiety being higher than usual. It's a vicious cycle which is hard to beat at times. And I know that taking time out for some mindfulness will help. . What I would like to know is, what other methods or suggestions do you have that can help with this? Or are you like this too? . This is a reason why I wanted to do my Mindful CAL. To bring a different way when each part is released to help you, bring information about mental health and hopefully break down the barrier of just because we can't see it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. . I would love to hear from you if you have any suggestions, feel free to send me a private message if you don't want to comment here. . P.s I will lose at yarn chicken, that is a given lol. Always look on the bright side of life (sometimes a hard thing to do) 😚😚😚

I'm wanting to make a crochet purse for myself so I played around with different stitches. Now I have to decide which one/s to use 🤔😜. It was fun playing around with some new stitches too. Have you learnt any new ones lately?

I found it! My 4.5mm hook was were I left it last (obviously) but I couldn't remember where that was. So you can stop looking now. 🤣😜 Wishing you all a safe and productive day x

How many of you plan your day? Write down what you have to do and would like to achieve? Are you a list person? 🧶 I would love to get back into planning and using my bullet journal everyday. I feel like when insee things that I have ticked off, I feel like I've accomplished something haha. 🧶 I use mine for writing down my patterns, my wip list 😱, and things I'd like to design etc. It's such a great tool. 🧶 Oh and don't look too closely at the written pattern pictured here, it's not the pattern to the design on my hook 🤣🤣🤣.
