ESCAPE MANDALA

I CROCHET to escape reality

ABOUT:
This is a very exciting pattern for me. I designed it for my very first solo crochet workshop. I’ve done other ones in the past, but this one was the first on my own two feet.

I really do hope you enjoy making this special mandala. Feel free to attach it to a ring and look at it daily, if you decide to keep it. Maybe say something positive to yourself every time you see it.

SKILL LEVEL:
As I say, I try to write my patterns so that every skill level can understand and follow them. Practice the stitches used and see how you go. Try stepping out of your comfort zone, you will reap the rewards.

MATERIALS:
Yarn: Stylecraft Naturals Organic Cotton (100% organic cotton, 50g/1.76oz, 105m/114yds)
Colours: One each of the following: C1 = 7174 Buttermilk; C2 = 7176 Peach; C3 = 7169 Fondant; C4 = 7184 Mauve; C5 = 7195 Faded Denim; C6 = 7172 Peppermint.
You will have plenty of leftover yarn for your stash
Crochet Hook: 4mm / US G / UK 8
Ring (Optional) 300mm / 11.81inches (Stitch markers if attaching to ring 8-16 markers)

NOTIONS:
Scissors and yarn needle

GAUGE:
Complete end of Round 2 of the pattern. The gauge should measure approximately 9cm across. Adjust hook size accordingly.
